Warhawk Crew has a reputation as a team built upon hard work and focused training, while maintaining academic excellence. We are seeking highly motivated individuals for the following positions:

Women's Assistant Coach _ Junior Varsity
Warhawk Crew is sustained by the James Madison Crew Booster Organization (JMCBO), a parent volunteer booster organization that ensures the coaching staff is provided the support and equipment necessary to succeed.
The desired candidate will have a proven track record of success at the high school coaching level or higher. Warhawk Crew has dedicated indoor boathouse space at Sandy Run Regional Park - located on the Occoquan Reservoir. Fall/Winter conditioning schedule (Nov - Feb) includes afternoon practices at JMHS and on-the-water spring practices begin in February every weekday + Saturdays during the VASRA rowing season, with Saturday regattas in season. Candidates should have or intend to obtain US Rowing Certifications, SafeSport, CPR/AED, First Aid Certifications.
In all positions, compensation to commensurate with experience, responsibilities, and availability. The Coaches will be hired as an independent contractor of the JMCBO, as a badged non-employee of Fairfax County Public Schools (FCPS). FCPS background/fingerprint check required.
