Anne FitzSimons
Lead Novice Girls Coach

Anne FitzSimons (Coach Fitz) is in her third year of coaching at Madison. In her first season with the team, she helped lead the Novice Women’s 8+ to a gold medal at the VA State Championships.  She enjoys helping out with winter training, and on the water she coaches the novice girls. She was a junior at Madison when its crew team was started in Fall 2002, and joined the team as a founding member. She was a varsity coxswain during her two years with crew. While she did not row during her college years at Purdue University, she is glad to be back with the James Madison crew team in a coaching capacity.
