Each year the JMCBO board sets dues and payment schedules based on cash requirements of the organization, expected size of the crew and other relevant factors such as capital costs. The following schedule applies to the current rowing season. Other fees may be assigned as determined by the board.

Payment Schedule 2011-12 Season
First: $250: November 11th returning and new rowers and coxswains.
Second: $300 by January 13th
Third and final: $400 by February 10th, in order to participate in water practice
Fundraising: $400 by 1/31, total $750 by APRIL 1st, no exceptions (see fundraising tab for further information)

Dues refund policy
The first dues payment is not refundable for any reason
Second & final dues payments are fully refundable if requested in writing to the Treasurer within 30 days of the due d
For Novices, second & final payments are refundable if Madison Crew implements a try-out system and the Head Coach determines the student did not make the team

Additional Costs
Travel Event Assessments: JMCBO may, from time to time, participate in out-of-town events such as the Stotesbury Cup in Philadelphia, which is a voluntary activity. Assessments include costs of transportation, lodging, food and any logistical items involved such as boat and equipment movement. Amounts of assessments vary.
Uniforms: Rowers and Coxswains must purchase their own uniforms.
